Andrzej Borczyk has been working for over 20 years in key global organizations on the Polish and CEE market. These companies are an excellent example of how to achieve above-average results not only thanks to well-known brands, but also thanks to systematic building of committed teams that achieve long-term successes.

He started his professional career as a Sales Representative at Mars/Masterfoods in 1995. After a year, he managed his first sales team. Then he headed the training department, and in the next step he took over the duties of Regional Sales Manager, managing sales in the territory of 1/3 of Poland. Later, he was Sales Operations Manager and coordinated the operations supporting the sales department. He started working in the area of human resources management in 2003 as a Business Partner for the Supply area, and then he was promoted to the position of Resourcing and Talent Development Director. In this role he created recruitment and development strategy by building Employer Branding, Graduates Programs, succession and competence development programs in Poland and CEE region.

In 2008 Andrzej joined Diageo, where he held the position of HR Director for Poland and then also for the distribution markets of Central and Eastern Europe. He was responsible for human resources strategy and its implementation throughout the organization.

At the end of 2010, he joined Microsoft for the position of HR Director, implementing the human capital development strategy and coordinating training in the development of key competencies at the CEE level. During this time, Microsoft was awarded the Great Place to Work title every year and won twice in its categories.

Andrzej joined Grupa Żywiec in April 2016 as a Human Resources Director at the level of a Member of the Management Board. Grupa Żywiec is a part of the global Heineken concern, employs over 2000 people in Poland, combines tradition and innovation, brews beer in five breweries and has a broad portfolio of well-recognized brands.

Andrzej is a graduate of the Faculty of Chemistry and the Faculty of Management and Business Studies at the Jagiellonian University.

Andrzej’s passion is tennis, skiing and football, as well as spending time actively with his family and friends.
